After a memorable breakfast at Van Kahvalti Evi,
All that food was for John and me, our friends ordered lighter fare
We walked down to catch the ferry up the Bosphorus Sea
Yoros Kalesi (castle) is a 13th-century Byzantine fortress situated on a hilltop in Beykoz, Istanbul, overlooking the confluence of the Bosphorus and the Black Sea. (wiki)
In addition to stunning views, I enjoyed new wildflowers and butterflies (red admiral and white cabbage)

It was a varied trail with rocks, switchbacks, restaurants, and some new to me plants & treesJani color-coordinated her backpack with the color of new growth leaves
