Istanbul Yorros Kalesi Castle   April 14, 2026  After a memorable breakfast at Van Kahvalti Evi,  1                                          All that food was for John and me, our friends ordered lighter fare   We walked down to catch the ferry up the Bosphorus Sea      Yoros Kalesi (castle) is a 13th-century Byzantine fortress situated on a hilltop in Beykoz, Istanbul, overlooking the confluence of the Bosphorus and the Black Sea.
